I just to work in some others schools in Ecuador, really good ones in Quito, where I earn my experience and my training in the University and some courses, there I got my diploma to teach spanish but also my degree as a Lawyer. I worked with another spanish schools in Montanita, but to be honest, I did not like it, I have more vision in my life, I always want my own spanish school, my own business. My Ecuador is an amazing country and I really want to help to develop montanita, It is my country... Thats my dream. My school is small and independent, I personally train my teachers to teach spanish, they also have the previous experience teaching by their own in others schools, and studies in the university also, all of them have degree in education. I do not accept fake teachers like other schools, we offer quality not quantity. We prepare together programs and excersises every week, I create by myself my own excersises book and materials for our spanish lessons, we include it for free in your program. We do not copy and sell books of other people, we work with our own material and use IE system, International del Espanol approved by Ministery of Education of Ecuador and Lengua Viva system. This two combined create a really good way to learn spanish easily. We work in a wood house seeting on the beach, in the quiet side of montanita, where you can see all nature around, listen birds and animals everywhere, and just 1 minute walking of the beach. I chose Montanita to live because I love the beach, the sun, the community is amazingly friendly, waves and surfers my entertainment, life here is very special, peaceful, crazy or just fun.. depends what you wants.. All around Montanita you can have fun, parties or to know new people, there are a lot of restaurants, bars, discoteques, the famous cocktel alley, but ONLY in one place you will learn spanish, is totally guaranteed! You are going to Love Montanita as much as we do!

These are my recommendation to improve your spanish fastly:

Learning Spanish

1.  Learn the basic, first you will need some grammar organization, exercises and a good teacher who help you to understand the rules and the base of our language.
2. Why not learn in an spanish speaking country? Living with an ecuadorian family in Montanita like homestay helps you a lot to improve your knowledge, vocabulary, learn about the culture and love our country.. as much as we do!
3. Practice, practice your new skills, no matter if is perfect or a rusty spanish, talk with the people, know our culture, go to the store and ask for something, Ecuadorians, we are really open to the tourist, patient and friendly
4. Read,,, read all the things that arrives to your hands, read the instructions on the shampoo, the bottle of water, the lotion or cream, try to find out what are the instructions in spanish and with time you will remember the vocabulary. Read the flyer that people give to you on the streets, everything helps
5. Tv, normally our parents says is not educative but it is! if you use it like a teacher or instructor, you can start watching movies in english with subtitles in spanish, then watching movies in spanish with subtitles in english, finally watching movies in spanish without subtitles. If movies is to much for you,, try with tv shows, novels (soap poppers, internet videos.
6. Listen.. music is not just relaxing is also educative, dance with the tropical ritmos or romantic songs in spanish, make relation between them. Create your own methodology.
7. Youtube offer a big gamma of videos with the translate in spanish at the bottom.

My name is Gabriela Estrella, I am 29 years old. I was born in Quito the capital of Ecuador, but I am living in Montañita the beach attraction of Ecuador for almost 3 years.

I am qualified Spanish teacher, I have been working per 6 years teaching my language to foreign who visit my country. Couple years in one of the most famous schools in Quito and few years by myself. Now I am running my own business here!

I have two degrees, I finished law school and I studied communication like my second degree, I am fluent in English with some knowledge of French.

My personality (extremely important when choosing a tutor): I'm honest, hard-working, dynamic, creative, and always looking for new challenges. (My knowledge about politic, society, culture and law, are a really big support in my actual job, my students never be bored for our practices and conversational time, for a Spanish teacher is really important to know some all this things to make interest conversation and I love to learn some about new cultures and places that I never have been before, but some day I would love to go.
